Raihan’s research focuses on the installation of offshore monopile foundations in sand using vibratory driving. By combining centrifuge experiments and advanced numerical modelling, the project aims to improve understanding of soil-pile interactions during vibratory pile driving and develop reliable prediction methods for this installation technique.

Bernardo’s research focuses on the installation of plate anchors in intermediate soils for offshore foundation systems. His work delves into different installation methodologies and combines this with an understanding of key soil mechanisms to shed light on potential installation approaches.

Emad’s research focuses on predicting the vibro driven offshore monopile installation from cyclic cone penetration testing. The project combines laboratory centrifuge testing and advanced numerical modelling to examine in detail the soil structure interaction.

Mingfang’s research focuses on plate anchors for floating offshore wind, with the goal of developing more efficient and cost effective plate anchor installation methods for floating offshore renewable energy infrastructure.
